Privacy and cookies

What data this website collects

This website is an information page. It has no forms, does not ask you to register and does not use analytics or advertising tools.

As with any website, the server hosting it automatically records some technical data about visits, such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested. This data is used only to run the website and protect it from abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not used to identify visitors. It is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for these purposes, in line with the hosting provider's policies.

Where the data is hosted

The website is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. on servers in Italy. Aruba processes technical visit data as a data processor (Art. 28 GDPR). The website's technical data is not transferred outside the European Union.

Online booking

The "Book online" button opens the booking page of Vetincloud, the management software Dr. Loparco uses for the clinic. The data you enter there (name, email or phone, details of your pet and any notes) is used only to manage the appointment: to confirm it, remind you of it, reschedule or cancel it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at the request of the data subject). If you become a client, your data is added to the clinic's records and kept for the period required by law, for example for tax and health purposes. Unconfirmed requests are deleted when no longer needed.

Vetincloud processes this data on behalf of Dr. Loparco as a data processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Online booking is optional: you can always book by phone.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, either technical or profiling, and does not load content from external services. That's why no cookie banner is shown.

Links to external services

The buttons to call, write on WhatsApp, open Google Maps or the Facebook page, and the booking page, lead to third-party services. When you use them, the data you provide to those services is processed according to their own privacy notices. WhatsApp, Google and Facebook belong to companies that may also process data in the United States, with the safeguards provided by European law (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

If you write or call, Dr. Loparco uses your data only to reply to you and handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and keeps it for as long as needed to do so, unless you become a client.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to it or receive it in a readable format (portability), by writing to the contact details above (Articles 15–22 GDPR). No automated decisions are made and no profiling takes place. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
